"I cannot overstate how valuable AKPsi has been to my college life and professional career. The skills I acquired as a Brother are the envy of my coworkers and the foundation of my success to date. More important, however, are the lifelong friendships I have forged with everyone in the fraternity. Across the globe, I have a network of people I can always rely on. Whether I need advice for a business situation or just a couch to crash on, my Brothers in AKPsi are always there for me. I think that's what makes the AKPsi experience so powerful and worthwhile."

"For me, Alpha Kappa Psi emanates the sense of belonging. When I first came to UVa, I knew I was interested in business, but it was difficult for me to find like-minded people. One day, it happened to be that as I passed by Newcomb Hall, I saw a chalking that read, “Join us now or work for us later,” a slogan used to advertise one of AKPsi’s information sessions. I was very intrigued by it and decided to find out more about it. There, I met people who shared a common passion for business—people who, later, became some of my best friends here at the University. Throughout the pledging process, my personal and professional skills developed tremendously, and I grew extremely close to my pledge brothers. The brothers came from a vast variety of backgrounds and interests, but they were all unified by their desire to succeed in the business world. Before long, I realized that I had found my niche at UVa; before long, I knew that the friends that I made and the skills that I learned would remain with me for the rest of my life. For me, then, becoming a brother of AKPsi has certainly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made at the University."
